This coming Saturday our hurlers face their biggest test of the year so far when they face up to Kilburn Gaels in the semi-final of the London senior hurling championship. Kilburn, the defending champions, have shown that they are still the team to beat in the city and can boast several county players throughout their ranks. Despite our good recent win in the Ryan Cup manager Kevin McMullan has been drilling into the lads that the SHC is a different matter, and that nothing less than our absolute best will be good enough to win. If we can produce our best hurling a tremendous battle is in store this weekend in Ruislip.
